After graduating from high school and having completed her training in Hotel Management as well as subsequent studies in Business Administration, Cristina Bastian gained practical experience on an international level in the hotel business and in hotel consulting, in the financial industry and, eventually, also in the advertising and communication business. Her performances in positions such as the internationally operating internal audit department at InterContinental Hotels in London and New York, her work at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in Hong Kong or with Goldman Sachs in London and Frankfurt formed a strong customer-oriented mindset and service mentality in her.
On account of her leading position at one of London’s most successful press agencies in the luxury travel business, Cristina absorbed different strategies with regards to press and public relations work. Most recently, Cristina was responsible for the PR and Events department at Söllner Communications AG, a full-service communications agency in Munich.
In 2009 she made the decision to take the next step and establish an agency of her own to realise the communication concepts she had developed based on her years of experience in the business.
After starting her professional career at the economic service of the Cologne Institute for Economic Research (IW), economist Rita Dittmer has been working as a freelancer for various business editors and PR agencies for many years. Here at Pressence, Rita supports all administrative areas and is responsible for the seamless course of all projects.
